A few years we ran a series of questionnaires to gather people’s memories of specific parts of our more recent history. It was very successful, and a number of articles appeared in the monthly newsletter as a result.
Well, we have decided to have another go at it…..
A Day at the Carnival

These links will take you to a questionnaire about your memories of Heanor Carnival (or Langley Mill Carnival, Codnor Carnival, etc). It doesn’t matter how much you can or can’t remember, as every snippet of information helps (and we doubt there will be many people around who can remember this float from an early Heanor Carnival parade).
You can open a pdf version of the questionnaire, which you can print out and write on.
Or if you prefer to type your answers, then choose the Word version – this can then be emailed to us.
Alternatively, just look at the questions and send us an email covering your recollections.
If you want your responses to remain anonymous, then just tick the box at the top (or say so in your email)
All of the original questionnaires are still available and we would still like to receive responses to them – every bit of information about your past is part of our collective history. For the full set of questionnaires, visit the We Want Your Memories page.
